I think some cllrs are best staying away from soc media; no matter the level of training.
Still, maybe not, some of my compadres rant ARE rather amusing.

Your councillor list is out of date. There are names who are no longer Islington Councillors, and when I have tried to register nothing seems to happen.
cheers rupert perry

Councillor Lewis' website is truly inspirational. 24 hours a day residents can log into her website or their facebook or tweeter account and read whats going on. Her "Ask Catherine" facility is excellent.
Her use of the world wide web, website, tweeter & facebook has completely broken down the barrier between Councillor and constituents.

Thanks for the comments! It's brilliant that online efforts make a difference and are appreciated by the community, and we're pleased the Cll'r awards specifically honour the fantastic web presence of many local representatives. We will be attending the awards ceremony next month, so be sure to check back on TweetyHall, where we will be reporting back and celebrating the winners success!

Councillor Lewis's website is easy to navigate, up-to-date and informative. Her newsletter emails are great for providing all the latest local news and information.

Councillor Lewis sends regular updates through Facebook and other electronic methods, I really look forward to seeing my regular Email telling me what is happening for my local community and it ensures that I dont miss any local events. Local weather, rubbish collections and road conditions help when the weather is bad. Very informative and lots of fun. It makes it east to contact her if I need to know something or need something done, Well done Catherine.

Her daily blog/twitter etc is infomative and helps with many problems that occur i.e. rubbish collectionduring the bad weather etc.. Her website is also easy to manouvere for even computer novices like me. Well done Catherine....
