It’s only five days until the Labour party will begin to decide who will be the next leader of the party and 4 weeks until the announcement is made at the Labour Party Conference. All the nominated candidates have been busy promoting their campaigns through video, twitter and their campaign sites, as well as more traditional methods such as phone banks and hustings.
And now councillors are getting involved online, sharing their support of their favoured would-be leader with the rest of the party.
One such councillor is 18 year old Jason Ellar, one of the youngest councillors in the country, who has made a short video on why he believes Ed Miliband is the right leader for the party:
In the last few weeks we’ve spotted a variety of twibbons, hashtags and blogs from councillors on who they’ll be voting for in a few weeks time. Are you a Labour councillor that has a strong view on who should win the leadership race? We’d love to hear about why you’re backing your candidate- and the ways in which you are supporting them. Either send us a tweet over on @TweetyHall, or leave a comment below.
